Welcome to our blog. Whether you followed me over from Mere Mortal Dad or just recently found us, we’re excited that you’re here! As a husband/wife team we hope to bring you insights about parenting and family relationships that will help you to become a full-time parent no matter your situation. Again welcome to our site and we hope to see you back here soon.

Here’s a little bit about us:
| We started this blog as a way to discuss some of our experiences as parents, share valuable insights we’ve learned from others, and build a community of people who believe all parents have the ability to make a tremendous difference in the lives of their children no matter their employment status, background, or gender if they think of themselves as a parent first. |

I am Kevin Jensen- welcome to FullTimeParenting.com. I live in Provo, Utah (45 minutes south of Salt Lake City) where I fill my days with a variety of activities. I’m married to Heather Jensen, a university professor, and we have four amazing children. I am an entrepreneur at heart and am usually involved in one project or another when I’m not busy tending to the needs of our kids, remodeling our home, or serving in our church. |

I am wife to Kevin and mother of his four amazing children and an as of yet untenured university professor who is active in her church and community. I love all of my “jobs” and most of the time feel a modicum of control and sense of well being as I try to balance–or blend–my various passions. These passions include family, church, art history (see my other blog at www.arthistorysalon.com), literature, gender studies, all things French, cooking, decorating, and traveling. I have accepted the fact that I will rarely have long, uninterrupted time to do anything, so I’m constantly moving between caring for my children, cleaning, teaching, driving, researching, cooking, writing, worrying, going to meetings, wondering what’s for dinner, blogging, hoping I’m meeting the needs of all . . in other words, living like you! I want to create a space where those who see themselves as parents first (but who are also employees, spouses, friends, individuals, and even children ourselves) can come to share, commiserate, rejoice, and inspire each other in our pursuit to find the good life. |
